Last week I started my class for this trimester. I'm teaching a global history of chocolate for 2nd through 4th graders. They imagined and drew what a chocolate tree looked like; we learned about the actual chocolate tree - cacao; we did a cacao ecosystem web; and we tasted raw, organic cacao nibs. Fun, fun, fun! Looking forward to next week.
